Big Sister has been built by a team of experts. At the heart of Big Sister is a ‘Danger List’ which has coded expertise and education from the NSPCC and CEOP. This has been further steered by a panel of experts (see below) and augmented by AI.

  • Managing Director

    Anne Mundy is an entrepreneur and delivery manager in cyber engineering, motivated to leverage her technology skills for social good. Mum of two pre-device children she wants to make it safe for them online.

    With a Master's in Engineering from Cambridge University and extensive experience in leadership, she has founded multiple successful businesses, including a charity that provided yoga classes for vulnerable individuals, and is now focused on enhancing online safety through her latest venture, Big Sister.

  • Technical Agent

    Jordan is a seasoned Software Engineer and Technical Consultant with a decade of experience in government and multinational corporate sectors, specializing in developing and delivering tailored solutions for complex problems.

    Driven by a passion for projects with real-world impact, he combines his technical expertise with a commitment to community engagement, including mentoring young people in the arts and contributing to gender equality initiatives in the cybersecurity industry, which aligns with his motivation to tackle the challenges of online safety and privacy through his work with Big Sister.

    JJ is a Canadian-born technologist, now a naturalized British citizen, with extensive experience in coding, system administration, and technology security, as well as a passion for privacy and digital rights advocacy.

    As a father of young children, he joined Big Sister to address the challenge of balancing online safety with digital autonomy, leveraging his expertise to develop a solution that respects both parental authority and children's growing independence in the digital age.

Need help talking to your child about risks or resources, we can help.

  • If you become aware of an issue, before taking any action, pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and stay calm. A calm space needs to be provided before discussing sensitive and vulnerable issues.

  • No child wants to feel spied on. With Big Sister, you can start an open conversation about online activities, navigating the situation in a truthful and supportive way.

  • If a threat has been confirmed, share your concerns with a trusted person or contact the NSPCC helpline at 0808 800 5000 for professional guidance. If you suspect sexual abuse, report it to CEOP or local police. For immediate danger, call 999.

  • Big Sister provides a community and support group for parents to discuss concerns and seek out resources.
