FAQs
How does Big Sister work?
The app sits on your child's device and runs with their consent. It automatically checks their activities and interactions. It compares these against Danger Detection algorithms, which have child safety advice built into the code and have been further curated by a panel of experts. If it identifies potential dangers, it sends warning flags to alert you in a timely manner by email with signposts to tips on what to do. You can also log in to your dashboard to see these flags and other patterns and trends.

Is my child's data secure?
Yes absolutely. We have encrypted the data end-to-end. We are Cyber Security Plus standards, which is the standard to which the government protects their data. To us, your data is as important as state secrets. We monitor our infrastructure, activities, and continually update our systems to guard against potential threats. We minimise the amount of data stored so that the threat surface is minimised.
