This category highlights if your child’s device is in non-normal locations for them.
But Big Sister believes this feature should not be used to monitor a child or a young person’s location all the time. Child privacy is a key part of growing up independently.
Other parental control apps track the child’s phone constantly. But Big Sister only flags non-normal locations which encourages less tracking and more privacy. Investigation is only required if there is a likely problem.

Big Sister is not the app for day-to-day location tracking.
Global Missing kids reports that in the United Kingdom, an estimated 112,853 children are reported missing every year.

A picture is built up inside the app of the child’s normal locations, e.g. school, home or homes, sports fields, town, after-school clubs. During this time location flags are turned off.
Once a normal pattern is established Big Sister flags only when a non-normal location is detected.
The parent will be able to ignore flags whilst the child is on holiday.
